Engineering Digital Trust
We are a corporate technology and communications firm in Lagos. We work on a single problem: making sure that what people find when they check on a business matches what that business actually is.
Trust is checked before it is earned.
Before a contract is signed, a partnership agreed or an invoice approved, someone runs a search. They read what comes up, open the website, look for whether the organisation appears anywhere independent, and form a view. That view is usually settled before anyone picks up a phone.
For most Nigerian organisations this first impression is left to chance. The website was built years ago and never maintained. The company appears nowhere in search. There is no independent record of the work. None of that reflects the quality of the business. It reflects the absence of anyone whose job it is to look after the evidence.
That is the work we do.
Each answers a different part of the same question.
The systems have to be sound. Infrastructure, support and the security posture underneath everything else, because a business whose systems fail in front of a client has a credibility problem before it has a technical one.
The record has to be public. Editorial coverage, brand visibility and distribution through the publication network we operate ourselves, so that a search for your organisation returns something written by someone other than you.
The positioning has to be coherent. What the business says about itself, who it says it to, and whether the claim stands up against what competitors are already saying to the same market.
The claims have to hold. Assurance and review work, so that what an organisation asserts about its processes and controls can be verified rather than assumed.
These are not four businesses under one name. They are four views of the same question: can this organisation be trusted, and does the available evidence show it?
Four commitments that shape every engagement, and that you are entitled to hold us to.
Every engagement opens with an audit. A proposal written before the audit is a guess dressed as a plan, and it usually prices the work the firm wants to sell rather than the work the client needs.
Off-page visibility in this market is usually purchased from link networks. Ours is produced and distributed through titles we operate, which means a placement is editorial work with a named audience behind it.
The audit, the keyword map, the reporting and the recommendations are yours to keep, whether or not you continue with us. Work that cannot be handed over was never really delivered.
Where a platform, budget or timeline makes an outcome unlikely, we say so at proposal stage rather than discovering it together three months in.
Most communications firms place their clients in other people's publications and hope for a slot. We operate our own titles, which changes what we are able to promise about timing, framing and whether a story runs at all.
Coverage moves across four distribution streams: blogs, social media, WhatsApp TV and search. A placement is built to reach an audience and to leave a durable record that search engines can find later.
The network is organised around four coverage areas. Which title carries a given story is decided at proposal stage, against the sector, the audience and what is actually being announced.
Founder
Boma Al Onyanabo is the founder of Reacher Corporate Tech, a Lagos-based firm bringing IT, media & PR, strategic consulting, and independent audit together under one accountable engagement. He built RCT to close the gap most agencies leave open — the space between a brand's story and the technical and governance standing behind it. With close to a decade of hands-on IT management experience spanning web development, SEO, and digital infrastructure, Boma pairs that technical grounding with an extensive media and journalism network, including oversight of platforms such as Ovation Magazine and NBCC. He currently also serves as General Manager at Transformation College of Business and Technology..
Boma holds twelve professional certifications, including ISO/IEC standards and Red Team Leaders cybersecurity credentials. Each can be independently verified.
Worth stating plainly, because each of these is routinely promised in this market.
Tell us what you are trying to fix. We will look at where you currently stand and come back with what the work actually involves.
